Open most Saturdays from 11 AM to 3 PM; the Museum contains different artifacts, both original and replicas designed to educate. People can learn more about an animal’s appearance when they see what it looked like during its lifetime. Local craftspeople make other items using old techniques passed down from one generation to the next. Membership costs only $10 a year. You can call (985) 863-5040 to confirm the Museum is open before visiting. Patrons can handle some items while we keep others safely in glass cases.
