Contents Cleaning is the Bulk of the Fire Damage Job in Slidell

This Slidell home had significant fire damage and brought in SERVPRO to handle the soot-covered contents cleaning. The techs worked closely with the adjuster to approve everything from the contents getting restoration services to the use of a dumpster for items that required disposal. The use of chem sponges on the walls and ceilings assisted in saving the sheetrock so it needed only sealing and repainting. However the insulation absorbed too much smoke odor for cleaning and it got rolled and removed from the attic. The main amount of damage occurred in the in-law suite which was left without power, however the techs brought their own generators to power their equipment during the mitigation.
