Slidell Toilet Causes Widespread Commercial Water Damage
In this Slidell childcare facility, a toilet was running throughout the night causing commercial water damage, and when the employees arrived the next day, there was standing water inside the building. SERVPRO technicians removed the water from the facility and scoped it to determine the problem areas. A total of nine rooms got affected. The techs needed to remove the floor covering, baseboards, and about two feet of the drywall due to wicking water. The techs removed the items on the floor to an area outside the worksite to ensure that items without any damage remained that way. After drying the area using their professional equipment, the techs disinfected the surfaces and prepped the site for the needed repairs to the drywall and flooring to get the business reopened and functioning as usual.
