Can't it dry on its own?

Water damages can dry on their own but it comes with a risk. Quick drying, especially in a commercial property, is vital when it comes to keeping mold growth at bay. Drying slowly allows the mold spores to take root and begin to grow.

Air movers and Dehumidifiers draw the water out of the wet materials quickly which does not allow the mold to take root. Mold needs water to grow and about 24 hours.
