Careful Mold Remediation in Slidell Home
A Slidell homeowner saw signs of mold in her guest bathroom ceiling. She brought in SERVPRO techs to remediate the issue. Upon scoping the bathroom, the techs found mold growth visible on the sheetrock and underneath the wallpaper. To avoid cross-contamination, they put up containment around the area and removed the wallpaper. Then the techs dried the mold infestation to lower the humidity under 50%. Once dried, The techs removed the colonies with HEPA vacuums and then wiped down the affected areas with antimicrobial agents. As a final measure, they treated the areas with an antimicrobial sealant so the area was ready for painting or wallpaper to get restored to its preloss condition.
